Mission Supporting Bee Health

Working with the ancient encaustic technique, where beeswax is the primary medium, led Gavrieli to discover the world of bees and their vital role in ecosystems and human life.

Without bees & pollinators, people would lose 1/3 of the food supply, including fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, tea, coffee, and dairy & meat production.

The most meaningful way to help support bees' health is by supporting scientific research, which led to the Institute of Bee Health at the University of Bern, Switzerland, where 5% of future profit from every artwork sold will help support the institute’s mission.

Gavrieli’s vision connects art and nature, beginning with bees and continuing through those who bring his artworks into their lives, becoming part of a lasting commitment to help protect the health of bees & pollinators on earth today and for future generations.
