Working with the ancient encaustic technique, where beeswax is the primary medium, led Gavrieli to discover the world of bees and their vital role in ecosystems and human life.

What is the most meaningful way to give something back to the bees? Discovering that scientific research is one of the most effective ways to protect bee health led him to the Institute of Bee Health at the University of Bern, Switzerland, where he committed 5-7% of proceeds from every artwork to support the institute’s mission.

Gavrieli’s vision connects art, nature, and collectors beginning with bees and continuing through those who bring his artworks into their lives, becnkoming part of a lasting commitment to help protect bees and pollinators for future generations.
