Gavrieli, at twenty-five, seeing for the first time in life a private art collection, felt the true power of color, an awakening that revealed art not as decoration, but as emotion given form. That moment planted a vision to create his own artwork carrying his own personality.
That vision led him to encaustic art using pigmented beeswax, which is one of the oldest painting techniques in the world, dating to 2500 y.o., compared to the oil, dating to 1400 y.o., and the acrylic, dating to 90 y.o., and he fell in love with it and started his art journey. Daily work in the studio to transform technique into a new level and create his artistic identity.
Seeing a documentary about ancient gold sparked a new vision to work with gold materials and to combine gold with encaustic technique in a way the world had never witnessed. After five years of experimentation, Gavrieli discovered a way to integrate 24-karat gold into the encaustic technique. The result was Gavrieli 24-Karat Gold Collection 1/1 in the world.
The Gold Collection exhibitions across Europe and Monaco, including exclusive VIP events, where many experienced art professionals said that they had never seen anything like that in their careers. From his private studio, he sold 90 original artworks to art lovers & collectors, including one of the wealthiest women in the Czech Republic, who owns several silver pieces.
When the pandemic arrived and exhibitions were no longer allowed, Gavrieli turned his focus to other projects and safely stored the remaining pieces until the right time arrived.
In 2026, the Gold Collection returns back with a new mission to do something beyond the art and give back to the bees who made the wax and to support their health, as they are also important for the ecosystem on the earth. The collection is reserved for a single private collector or institution prepared to carry its legacy and become a patron of his long-term vision.
